I recently got hold of a rather thick comic book from Japan which are very unlike the designs of the comic books over here. Apparently, everybody in Japan reads them and sometimes they even have some rather inappropriate pictures of semi-clad women in the back pages. Unfortunately, mine did not. However, I am pleased to say that I some of the page layouts are really nice and the one colour printing works really well with the simple illustrations. The typography on the front cover is visually interesting as well, especially on the spine.
